Frequently Asked Questions

Vedagramam means "Vedic Village." It is a spiritual infrastructure startup that creates self-sustaining Vedic eco-systems — living laboratories — at sacred hubs of Bharat such as Varanasi and Mookambika.

Vedagramam was founded by Satheesh Vedanthi Chandran and is based in Palakkad, Kerala.

No. It is a complete community where rishis, spiritual practitioners and volunteers live together to practise, experiment with and propagate the Indian Knowledge System (IKS), with Advaita Vedanta at its heart.

To help every person realise the divine already present within them — through Karma, Bhakti, Jnana or Yoga, or all of these together — and to experience the Mahavakyas such as Tat Tvam Asi and Aham Brahmasmi.

Its message: "God is within you. Recognise it and be free."

To make Bharat the global hub of conscious living, scaling its 5,000-year-old wisdom traditions into a worldwide movement. The long-term dream is that every village becomes a Vedagramam.

Deep spiritual practice is very hard amid modern materialism and distraction. Vedagramam provides a supportive spiritual ecosystem where living by Vedanta becomes practical.

• It treats Vedanta as a science to test and experience — not a belief to accept, nor merely a philosophy to study.
• It aims to sustain itself rather than depend on donations.
• It keeps traditions alive by practising them every day.

• A community built on truth, dharma, non-violence and service.
• Ending caste, which has no basis in Vedanta.
• Turning temples into centres of learning and service to people.

Authentic spiritual and wellness experiences for seekers from India and abroad, positioning Bharat as a leading destination for conscious living and spiritual tourism.

Seekers can join retreats and programmes, volunteers can help run the communities, and investors can support a culturally rooted, scalable venture.
