The retreat experience
Stone cave rooms built with ancient temple masonry: powerful spaces for deep meditation, silence and inner exploration.
Traditional mud houses that stay naturally cool, eco-friendly and grounding, in harmony with the earth.
Riverside locations near holy rivers for spiritual purification.
Natural farming on site and traditional Vedic meals prepared with devotion.
Daily pujas, bhajans and spiritual discourse in sacred spaces.
Meditation rooms built entirely with traditional stone masonry, like ancient temples. No cement, no modern materials.
Temple-inspired stone architecture
Reviving the wisdom of Sthapatya Veda to create spaces in tune with nature and the cosmos.
Our cave meditation rooms use the same stone masonry techniques that built India's temples, many of which have stood for over a thousand years. Every stone is selected, shaped and placed following Vastu Shastra and Sthapatya Veda.
No cement, no steel, no modern binders: only interlocked natural stone, lime mortar and traditional joinery passed down by generations of sthapatis. The structures breathe, regulate their own temperature and carry the atmosphere of the old shrines.
“Just as the temples of Khajuraho, Konark and Hampi were built to last millennia with only stone and devotion, Vedagramam honours this sacred tradition, creating spaces where the stones themselves remember prayers.”
A complete Vedic ecosystem
Residential schooling where children live and learn in a dharmic environment, blending ancient wisdom with modern education.
A cow sanctuary honouring Gau Mata as a foundation of Vedic culture. Learn traditional cow care and take part in goshala life.
Natural farming on Vedic principles, producing sattvic food in step with nature's rhythms.

The Vedagramam vision
“If the nations of the world want to grow, they must move forward a thousand years. But if India wants to grow, we must move back a thousand years. That is where the source of our knowledge lies.”
— Swami Vivekananda
Establish Vedic eco-systems, Vedagramams, as laboratories to practise, experience and promote Bharathiya Shastra and Vedanta.
Turn Indian villages into traditional Vedic communities by looking back a thousand years for foundational knowledge.
Our motivation
Amid the rush of modern life, the world is immersed in materialism, and deep spiritual practice is almost impossible in that atmosphere. Creating a supportive spiritual ecosystem is what Vedagramam is about.
True progress for Bharat lies not in abandoning our roots but in returning to them: to Sthapatya Veda in architecture, Krishi in agriculture, the gurukul in education, gau seva in reverence for nature, and the practices that have sustained consciousness for thousands of years.
Every stone placed with temple techniques, every sattvic meal from a Vedic farm, every child taught in a gurukul and every cow cared for in a Gokulam is a step back into our heritage, and a step forward into a sustainable, spiritually awake future.
Vedagramam recreates these ecosystems at sacred pilgrimage sites, working with temples and spiritual communities. They are funded by modern science and technology startups through the Bharathiya Innovators Foundation, and keep their own research and development facilities.
